Fancom nieuwe klant voor Ometa
Het was al aangekondigd op onze website: Fancom is onze nieuwe klant. Ometa zal een klantenportal ontwikkelen voor Fancom. Hun klanten gebruiken dit portaal of deze website om informatie te vinden, orders te maken,… Fancom wil dit portaal om een goed service te kunnen bieden aan hun klanten.

Nieuwe Technische Trainingen
Ometa begint in maart met de technische trainingen. De opleiding is interessant en mensen leren hoe efficiënt te werken met de oplossingen in SharePoint. Als uw bedrijf geïnteresseerd in een training, neem contact op met Ometa.
Integrator Release 8
Zoals aangekondigd is integrator Release 8 klaar en live! Ometa werkt al aan een nieuwe release. En deze Release 9 zal in het najaar van 2012 klaar zijn.

DEME chooses Ometa
The integration solution of Ometa ensures that there can be planned transactions within a portal on an asynchronous way. This ensures it isn’t necessary a continuous link with underlying applications is available. In some work environments such as on ships, in which the online connections are not always guaranteed, you want to retain an autonomy within your SharePoint environment when the connection drops with the Mainland. The Ometa platform provides these autonomy through its asynchronous transaction manager technology portal.
Ovet live with ETA case management portal
For each incoming ship in the port of Vlissingen and Terneuzen, a lot of information must be exchanged. Ovet has all its documents and ERP data bundled per inbound ship and has a 360° digital understanding on scheduled traffic. Unique for each file in the solution is that the ERP data is available for updates. Within a file the status of the orders can be updated. Next step is that from the files and planned activities a total planning is made available for all employees. By means of dashboards the scheduled activities can also be made clear for the whole organization.
Sogeti Netherlands and Ometa work together
Ometa and Sogeti Netherlands have a teaming agreement for the roll-out of Ometa solutions in the Netherlands. Another new partner who choses for Ometa.
Integrator Release 8 on his way!
After the successful release 7, the next release is already in the shakers to be released on December 15th. The focus here is to ensure a better Multilanguage support.
A first major deployment of this release will take place in Mexico, where one solution in multiple languages supported for both interface and application content data. In addition to the Multilanguage functionality a new connector for MAPICS ERP users is also added. The interface has also been given a new facade by using the new Microsoft Windows Presentation Foundation technology. Also release 9 is now starting to take shape content already and is planned for early April 2012.
Industry solution for federations
A better collaboration between federations and her members increases the usage and adoption of publications and newsletters.
Ometa has developed an industry-solution specifically designed to further improve the communication with its members and working groups.
The handling of publication of press releases, viewpoints, newsletters and the organisation of events and seminars can be done more efficient.

Grand opening new office great succes
On September 30th, the grand opening of the new office in Wommelgem took place. With pride Ometa showed the new office to the 200 attendees. The evening was a big success and the concept of the office was very much appreciated by all visitors. Click here for pictures, movies and customer reactions!
New assignment at Asco
Asco is specialized in ‘engineering to order’ production of complex aircraft components that get exposed to high forces. These components are often used in the wing flaps and the landing gear of Boeing and Airbus. Ometa has performed a total content analysis to improve the internal communication and knowledge management at Asco. This content analysis is the first step in the creation of a companywide Enterprise Content Management (ECM) vision. Asco is currently using the ERP system Mapics for which Ometa will add a connector to the Ometa Integrator Framework.
New customer GSH
Ometa is implementing, together with our partner C-solutions, a service portal for George Hall Systems in Rotterdam. George Hall Systems delivers Facility Management Services. The portals that are created will provide customers with a better inside in the planning of their facilities. Next to this, customers will be able to make their own service requests via a SharePoint portal.
Ometa ships new release!
A new release of the Ometa Integrator Framework, Release 7, has just been shipped and the first customer ‘Nedmag’ took it successfully in production. It turned out that the new workflow engine based on BPEL 2.0 added an extra dimension to the Enterprise Architecture on top of its current application landscape required for the go-live of its sales portal.
Contract management for DSM
The Dutch company DSM has asked Ometa to setup a portal to manage all contracts including their live cycle and access rights. This is part of larger trainings plan to establish a knowledge transfer for our implementation mythology on Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and portal definitions.
