Ometa chose to start a partnership with BCT because we believe that BCT products could give added value to certain organisations. We designed a connector to generate documents published, located or created in SharePoint, automatically to the archiving system of BCT. That way we created a solution for customers who want a solution from A to Z. Starting from generating information from the ERP system to SharePoint, archiving it automatically in Corsa. This means documents will always be secured. Employees will be able to consult the documents that have been archived. No information will be lost.
A clear trend is noticable in the market. Organisations are using collaboration environments more often because cooperation between employees will become a more focused issue, which is the case with Microsoft SharePoint. The strenght of these platforms is connecting people. It makes them capable of cooperating optimally within e.g. projects. The only thing missing in these environments is structure and a solid information management system (Governance, Riskmanagement and Compliance). E.g. think about local law- and regulations or managing processes. Information management surroundings on the contrary, do provide these characteristics but they are structured of nature and not optimally usable to enhance collaboration between people.

The partnership with BCT is growing and we regularly organise events to create awareness with our and BCT's customers.
